Advocate for Children
More than 30 years ago, the pioneering founder of the Helpcenter established that children have rights. Today and every day, thanks to our support, we defend the rights of 2.3 billion children around the world.
Our policy advocacy arm – Helpcenters Action Network – was founded in 2020. Together, we are building bipartisan will and voter support to ensure that every child around the world has access to high-quality early learning and that children arriving at the southern border are respected and cared for and that girls everywhere have the opportunity to lead.
Through research, partnerships and advocacy, our global policy and advocacy team educates and cultivates policy leadership to adopt proven practices, policies and programs for the most vulnerable children, families and communities of the world.

HELPCENTERS ACTION NETWORK(HCAN)
Discover the Helpcenters Action Network (HARC), the backbone of our mission at Helpcenters. By joining forces with dedicated partner organizations around the world, RACA forms a global support network for children affected by armed conflict. Through this unprecedented collaboration, we are providing vital resources such as safe shelter, food, medical care and access to education. Together, with our local and international partners, we work tirelessly to create lasting solutions and future opportunities for these young victims of war. The RACA embodies our commitment to a world where every child, regardless of geographic context or origin, has the opportunity to realize their full potential, free from the ravages of war and deprivation.
POLICY AND ADVOCACY
At Helpcenters, our commitment to children affected by armed conflict is unwavering. We strongly advocate for policies and actions that protect the human rights of these children in war zones, with particular emphasis on their education, health and safety. We believe that every child deserves to live in a safe and peaceful environment, and that is why we work in partnership with other humanitarian and government organizations to promote lasting solutions to humanitarian crises. Through our advocacy efforts, we call for concerted action to end armed violence and to ensure safe and unhindered access to humanitarian assistance for all children affected by conflict.
